Thomas (Tommy) Ashman has a deep range of experience as a retired Air Force officer having served in leadership positions within aircraft maintenance, intelligence, and space operations mission areas. Tommy is currently co-founder and Director of Product of Slingshot Aerospace, a leading company in situational awareness creating technologies that apply advanced analytics and machine learning to earth and space data, empowering customers with clarity in complex environments. As a self-created product manager and business professional, he is responsible for the discovery, creation, and momentum of product traction and marketability at Slingshot Aerospace.
Graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Space Operations, he began and ended his career with an appreciation and interest in the untapped potential of the space domain as an extension of human endeavors. After receiving a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Tommy left his Air Force career after 10 years to create technologies that can quickly navigate, analyze and leverage data from earth and space.
Tommy lives in Los Angeles, California and enjoys staying physically active, traveling to new places, and spending time outdoors lounging at the beach, tearing up the slopes or camping in the mountains.
